Chambres d’Hôtes – Bed & Breakfast in the Berry
Our bed & breakfast is currently closed. We will reopen our doors on the first day of spring, 21 March 2026. But of course, you can already make your reservations!
The Petit Café is open every Sunday from 12 noon to 5 p.m. In December, the Petit Restaurant is open by reservation on Saturday 6, 13 and 20 December. Reservations can be made up to two days in advance. On Christmas Eve, 24 December, we will be serving a five-course Christmas menu. Reservations for this can be made until Wednesday 17 December.
Chambres d’hôtes La Joyeuse is an intimate guest house where attention to detail and a touch of humor come together for a relaxing stay in an old and stately mansion with lots of charm. Our chambres d’hôtes is located on the village square of the quiet village of Préveranges in the green heart of France. Cycling, hiking, visiting castles and towns or enjoying the house, the large garden and the swimming pool with a bite to eat and a drink: it’s all possible and we will do everything to make sure you have a wonderful holiday!
Inside it is also nice to stay in the cozy dining room. At the table or in the lounge area you can read something or play a game. There is coffee and tea and there is an honesty bar with soft drinks, beer, wine and other refreshments.
We know that it is important to escape from the hectic everyday life, to have time for each other or to be alone with a good book without being disturbed. La Joyeuse is therefore for adults only and pets are not allowed.
You can charge your electric car nearby (at the town hall). Our guest house is non-smoking.

Rooms
Chambres d’hôtes La Joyeuse has 5 beautiful and comfortable guest rooms. The Bad and Breakfast has three rooms on the first floor and two in the attic.
All rooms have high-quality beds and a private bathroom with toilet, washbasin and shower cabin with rain shower and massage jets. In addition, Wi-Fi is available everywhere.
The prices of the rooms include an extensive breakfast with regional products.

Or completely disconnect from the daily grind in a ‘Enjoyment Package’ of 4 or 8 days.
